Dirty D Season 1 Episode 1

Soooo I just wanna start off by saying, the Dirty D is one of my favorite shows. So episode one starts off with Tiffany in the bar talking to the bartender. He leaves the club and Tiffany is alone. We cut to someone walking in and talking to Tiffany. We hear a gunshot and a scream and the screen cuts. I thought this was an amazing way to start the show. I immediately knew I was going to love the script and directing.

We go to one year later with Tiffany talking to the bartender again. She walks away and we cut to Brink opening his office for his friend. Malik tries to convince him to take on an investor. Brick is telling Malik he has some big plans for the Dirty D. We already see Brick plotting behind Tiffany's back.

Brick and Tiffany discuss inventory and business plans and have sex. Brick trifling ass invites Honey in to discuss business and he makes sure to smack her ass before she left.

So Malik goes to talk to the bartender who we see on the phone with someone and she's asking them not to call her at work. It's clear Malik thinks he runs the club too already.

We cut to Kyra and he boyfriend. They're arguing about Kyra working in the club. Terrance talks about what Kyra could be doing in the club. This is such a typical but ghetto conversation happening lol All Kyra can focus on is how broke they are. Terrance doesn't think working at the club is their solution to their problem. Apparently Terrance had a baby during his time with Kyra and I just wanna say ew.

We meet Kyra's best friend India and the club opens that night. We can tell Brick likes Kyra and the bar tender is in the back being a creeper and notices Brick looking at Kyra. After the opening we go back to Kyra's apartment. Keisha, Terrance's baby mama, shows up at the apartment looking for her son. Kyra gets arrested for putting her hands on Keisha.

India ends up passing out from drink she got from the bar with Nicki and why does Honey, another bottle girl rape her? I can't even say I expected to see something like this in the show.

The hot mess continues when we find out Terrance works the police. He gets the assignment to investigate the Dirty D where Kyra works.

Overall this was such a good episode. I love when I really wanna know what's going on next. I wanna find out about Keisha and India and where these storylines are going. I can't wait to find out about the police investigation and how Kyra reacts.
